Inside Blog Part VI

We've made it this far. Six Inside Blogs so far. I have fueled myself on ogas while typing up these blogs for you guys. But they are also for me. To preserve CTY. And without further ado, I give you Inside Blog VI.

Chris's Hall: Do the Ari, Do the Ari, Do the Ari.
Raymond: Like this?
Ari: No, you nearly killed it, if it wasn't so awasome it would be dead now.
Joe: You know what Raymond," NE DE MA SHI HUAN PING GOA"(your mom loves apples)
Sean: Hey, your better than that.
Joe goes into a fit of Chinese disses.
Max: Scott, you taught him well.
Scott: Go Joe.
Geena: Yeah, go Joe, Raymond is racist.
Joe: How did you get into Ryan.
Kaela: We're here to scream at Raymond and Scott you can't tell us he's not here this time.
Geena: Where is Raymond anyways?
Scott: He's watching Ari watch Kingston sleep.
Kingston: AHHH! Ari what are you doing and Raymond what are you doing.
Kingston: Throw away those buffalo wings.
John: NO!
Kingston: Its been a week!
John: I'll spray it with perfume.
Kingston: That won't work... why do you have perfume.
John: I...uh... found it... no its actually Axe... yeah that's it, it's Axe.
Angie: AHH! John stop spraying me.
Chris: What are all of you girls doing in Ryan. I need to sleep.
Angie: Andy said we could. We're his wives.
Chris: All of you?
Angie: He paid us.
Chris: That's why its smart camp.
Emily H.: Cookie Monster. How's it going. Did they let you out of rehab?
Cookie Monster: Not really, I kinda escaped.
Emily H.: No problem, want a cookie.
Cookie Monster: Is that all you ever say.
Emily H.: Don't make me go ninja on you.
Kingston: Save it for Jacob.
M.E.: Stop hating on the Yankees.
Kingston: STOP LOVING ON THE YANKEES!
M.E.: Yankees are better.
Kingston: THEY ARE NOT, I CALL A YANKEES VERSUS RED SOX BRAWL!
Chris: Hey, Kingston, take it easy.
Kingston: RED SOX FANS, ASSEMBLE!
M.E.: Yankee fans, come to M.E.
Kingston: FIVE KIDS THAT'S IT!
Charlie: Hey, we're in enemy territory.
Kingston: CHARLIE, GO ZIDANE ON THEM.
Charlie: How will I take them all?
Kingston: Yankee fans aren't smart.
Ari: Kingston, I thought we went through this alreday.
Kingston: And its still true.
Ari: I can't get made at you.
Kingston: I thought you were a Yankees fan.
Ari: Yes, but so is Raymond.
Geena: MUST BEAT RAYMOND!
Kingston: Hey, Yankee fans, Raymond is a Yankees fan. This is your chance to get him back for all that he's done.
Jacob: Everyone! Switch sides!
Kignston: SHOUT OUT TO RAYMOND! YOU WANTED TO BE IN MY BLOGS! ITS ALL IN GOOD FUN!
Kingston: Good call Jacob.
Raymond: You hate me because I'm Chinese.
Geena: Nuh uh, that's why you hate me.
Kaela: RAYMOND IS RACIST!
Red Sox Fans: *GASP*
Essie: How about an asparugus fight?
Emily C.: How about a soccer game?
Kingston: How about a Bemegyek off?
Ryan: What's that?
Kingston: Who cares as long as it has Bemegyek.
Amanda: PEACH!
Sarah: Peach has like no effect on us anymore. We're like totally free!
Amanda: KIWI!
Emily C.: Dang it!
Sarah: Fudge!
Amanda: Thank you, I propose an essay off.
Kingston: Let's just say the Red Sox won.
Raymond: Yeah let's go Red Sox.
Kingston: NO! You'll ruin everything. Quick say your a Tampa fan.
Raymond: Go Tampa Bay...uhh.
Kingston: Devil Rays
Raymond: Devil Rays.
Scott: Let's do this in Padua. Ryan is hot and smells bad and there are bugs everywhere... wait. We could see which group can survive longest in Ryan.
Raph: Survivor: Ryan edition.
Kingston: GO RED SOX!
Cherry: And they said I had a problem.
Kignston: We call the Avalanche.
Jacob: No fair the Avalanche cheats.
Red Sox Fans: YEAH!
Amita: I need to start a fight. I'll be a Red Sox fan. I used to be from Newton.
Rob: This fight is not going to happen!
Angie: Let's poison him again, or torch his car.
Rob: OKAYY, Lights out you guys.
Scott: Its only 9:10!
Rob: You guys got all of this momentum going in 10 minutes?
Kingston: Red Sox fans are loyal.
Jacob: So are Yankee fans.
Rob: Let's settle this over some ogas.
Yankees and Red Sox fans together: NEVER!
Rob: I quit.
Yankees and Red Sox fans together: Whoops.

And that solves one of the many CTY mysteries. In the end the Red Sox won, as it should be. And once again the Yankees fell to the mighty foot of the Boston Red Sox.

Inside Blog V

Ray-Ray I know this excellent retirement home for you. Nice and quiet. Ohh yeah, there was one incident there one time. A woman died and nobody cared. What's her face? M.E.? No. Ellen? No. Oh yeah, Emily H. No big deal though.

Kingston: Ryan, you can be a boy.
Ryan: No, I'm a girl.
Girls: Yay!
Kingston: Traitor.
Ryan: I've never been a boy.
Ray-Ray: HEY, be a man dooo the right thing.
Emily C.: You don't even play soccer with us.
Raymond: I'm just being social.
Sarah: RAYMOND WANG! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT ABOUT ME!
Amita: I am going to pick a fight with you now just for fun! I mean, because of what you may or may not have said.
Raymond: I've got to go.
Kingston: SOOO hungry.
Kaela: IT'S PIZZA NIGHT!
Kingston: Same here.
Rachel: Hey M.E. is the pizza here yet?
Scott: Yeah John where is our pizza?
M.E: Pizza's not here yet. But Brendan is showing Bemegyek!
Rachel: Who watches Bemegyek?
Kingston: BEMEGYEK! WHERE?
Rachel: Besides Kingston?
Ryan: BEMEGYEK! WHERE? LORD BEMEGYEK, HE BECKONS
Kingston and Ryan: BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK.
John: WELLL, the pizza's not coming cause of the rain.
Angie: UGH not the Raymond again.
Kingston: I hate the Raymond.
Geena: Why does Raymond have to be so racist! Gosh!
Kaela: Yeah Raymond what do you have against my race.
Kingston: Way to go Raymond!
Scott: Raymond isn't here.
Emily C.: Way to point out the obvious, Scott.
John: Just kidding!
Chris's hall: WE HATE YOU! GET OUR PIZZA! NOW!
John: OK ok
Raph: I still think we should have gotten the Hawaian pizza.
Cherry: With cherries on top!
Raph: No, with pineapple.
Cherry: OHH!
Kingston: Scott where is our pie!?
Scott: For the last time I didn't get pie!
Cherry: Cherry pie!?
Scott: Cherry, I know this great doctor. He's currently working on cookie monster and Amanda...
Cherry: I don't have a problem.
Kingston: Still hungry!
Kaela: Hye-Jung, do you still have applesauce?
Hye-Jung: Just as long as you don't play spoons this time.
Kingston, Scott, Kaela, Rachel: AWWWWW!
Kingston: HEY JACOB, THE RED SOX ARE IN FIRST!
Helena: I hate the Red Sox.
Kingston: WELL AT LEAST THE RED SOX HAVE RED SOX NATION! WHAT DO THE YANKEES HAVE? YANKEE FANS? THAT'S ORIGINAL!
Max: FEET!
Kingston: Hey that's my wor, oww!
John W.: Poke!
Cherry: Now may not be the best time.
John: POKE, POKE, POKE, AND POKE!
Kingston: I'm still winning!
Charlie: Need a cookie?
Kingston: Are they from Foy?
Charlie: Where else?
Kingston: How much?
Charlie: $20 a pop!
Kingston: What I wouldn't do for a cookie.
Ari: Hey, Kingston.
Kingston: Yes?
Ari: Jacob and a couple of his friends are looking for you.
Kingston: What for?
Ari: The hat in the trash thing.
Kingston: Ohhh. Hmm. Maybe I can trick him, Yankee fans aren't that smart.
Ari: Hey watch it.
Kingston: It's true.
Ari: Kingston, I'm warning you.
Kingston: IT'S TRUE!
Ari: I WARNED YOU. WHERE'S RAYMOND I NEED TO TAKE OUT MY ANGER!
Scott: I thought you were mad at Kingston?
Ari: Yeah, but he's my favorite.
Geena: I know why you want to beat up Raymond, he's racist.
Kaela: Gosh Raymond why do you have to be so racist?
Scott: Again, Raymond is not here.
Emily C.: Scott again, pointing out what no one else can.

Inside Blog for Kingston

"You have a problem" said the Doctor. "No, YOU have a problem" cookie monster said while his googly eyes span in strange patterns. Cookie monster felt his eyes blurring...the Doctor changed into an obscure chocolate chip cookie. Then Kingston walked in the office where cookie monster was trying to eat the Doctor's hand. Kingston threw a cookie he got at Foy hall at cookie monster which crumbled to pieces on the floor. Cookie monster took the pieces on the floor and gobbled them up anyways. Kingston said "You want cookies? There are ones as big as your head at Foy". Kingston then proceeded to lead cookie monster to Foy by leaving a trail of cookie crumbs. Cookie monster then went to the cookie tray where Emily was selling cookies for 20$ a pop. "Gimmie a cookie! I'll do anything for a cookie!!"Cookie monster pleaded. "You got the dough?"Emily said. "Just put it on my tab, you know I'm good for it"."Business is Business" Emily replied. Cookie Monster looked quickly right and left and snatches a cookie from the tray. Emily pops a cap in his a** "Don't mess with me." Cookie monster falls screaming. Kingston happens to pass by. "Wicked awesome"Kingston nodds in approval. "Emily, I still expect my weekly cookie delivery". The End

IT LIVES

Thanks to Ray-Ray I am now forced to continue Inside Blog. Now that I am coming out of retirement I suggest that Ray-Ray go into retirement because your Inside Blogs lack emotion. You should go back to what your good at, the tearful essays we have come to expect from you. There will be Inside Blogs again. And I didn't mention everyone by name, Amy. But now you are in Inside Blog by name.

My Day Camp

My day camp is run by the city of Newton making it cheap and low budget. I have made a few friends there. One of them is very Jewish and follows all of the commandments and eats only Kosher and stuff. She also is afraid of boys. For example, I was sitting next to her on a bus that would take us mini golfing and 2 boys sat across the aisle from us. Not a problem for me, THE BRAVE AND COOL ONE. But she got very tense and ended up switching seats. Not a big deal actually as i have an iPod. Howver it was very strange and when we went swimming she was splashing the boys as if she was a little kid. and stomping on their feet. Wow, a girl going into seventh grade is so - little. AND I KNOW THATS FUNNY COMING FROM ME. (as i can't pick a fight with anyone, haha scott)
My other friend has an even funnier story. As she was blabbing on about something, the word "whatev" escaped from my mouth. Now i don't normally say that but i did not really think it was a big deal. (Usually, I'll say whatever.) Apparently it was, She kept repeating, "i can't believ you just said that i am in shock." then she asked what nationality i was!!! what, an Indian can't be preppy enough to say that.?Well, WHATEV, i don't care. So, that was kind of strange.
Other than that, nothing else from my side, not much to report or to say.

other than bye, talk to ya l8er.

back camping

camping was not fun. my whole tent was so freaked out with bugs and stuff and there were a bunch of daddy long legs in our tent so i had to grab all of them and throw them places and the whole thing was so cramped (five friends and five duffel bags in a one room tent) and everyone got so gross and dirty. we didn't even end up biking that much, it wasn't really worth going in the end.

plus i stepped in these burning coals at the campsite and now the toes on my right foot have burns and these huge disgusting brown blisters. i mean it's my fault for not paying attention to myself stepping into a freaking CAMPFIRE but still it sucks because it hurts to walk now.

so anyway here's the good news: BIKE CAMP IS OVER TOMORROW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D =D =D YAY we're going to water country (for you non-massachusetts-ers that's a big water tube ish park) and friday we're supposed to go to another theme park but i'm DITCHING and then it's nyc for a weekend and i'd go up to visit lots of you if i were with my family but i can't this time. =(

i hope you've all been having amazing summers, i miss you all so much! i think i've changed so much since i left, i was thinking about it on the drive back home. lots of the change i really don't like at all (not saying it's cty's fault or anything, it's just my new perspective on people and places) buut whatever i guess i'll figure it out.

♥, GEENA!!!

Inside CTY

And thus ends the instllments of Inside Blog. I have written all that needs to be written and have written about all of our classmates and then some. I hope those articles will help preserve the memory of CTY, until it calls for us next year. And the year after that until we have a great experience that will last us a life time, even if that's what we already have.

Inside Blog Part III

On a warm sunny weekend morning, Kingston, Scott, Kaela, and Rae were on the residential quadrangle. Kaela and Rae were eating applesauce, that fell magically from Hye-Jung's window, while playing cards with Kingston and Scott. All of a sudden a tick jumped into the middle of their card game. As if by instinct they started playing spoons.

Judge: "We now call Sarah D. to the stand."
Sarah: What for?
Judge: To defend the word "like".
Sarah: OHHH! Ok I just don't see what the big deal is. "LIKE" is LIKE what people say when LIKE there is LIKE something needs to be LIKE said but LIKE they need time to LIKE think and LIKE gather their thoughts, LIKE composing themselves. So Scott "LIKE" is LIKE the best. TOTALLY!
Scott: See this is what I mean.
Judge: I LIKE totally see what Sarah is trying to say. It LIKE totally makes sense.
Scott: I'm never using "LIKE" again.
Jury Member 1: You just did.
Scott: That was childish.

"CHUG, CHUG, CHUG!" came the cry from the table. Ray-Ray smashed the can down. Cheering erupted from the group, but upon further inspection only half of the soda was gone. Scott had finished his soda quicker and he just sat down. And here came Chery with her amazing flicking ability. The defending champ. Scott's flick, Cherry's flick, Scott's flick, Cherry's flick. That flick was amazing it went across two tables. Uh oh it landed in Jakob's hair. "Serves him right for being a Yankees fan", scowled Kingston. And for those of you reading this... YES I have nothing to do.

Inside Blog Part II

Cookie Monster: Chea Boiy! That's some wicked awesome tupaware.
Doctor: Cookie monster those are cookies, have you been eating them?
Cookie Monster: No, I think their Fred's. He's packing.
Doctor: Cookie Monster. If you keep eating cookies you'll never get out of rehab. You too Charlie!
Cookie Monster: Charlie give me some of your Goldfish cookies.
Doctor: Maybe you should try some cabbage.
Cookie Monster: Cabbage is deadly, look what it did to Geena and Bertrum.
Doctor: It's Bertrum's fault for making everyone jealous and Geena should have bought more buttons.
Charlie: What about Scott?
Doctor: Scott? Oh that kid. He got caught in the line of fire.
Amanda: It wasn't my fault! John made me do it!
Doctor: Are you eating peaches again?
Amanda: Kiwis not peaches.
Doctor: And I thought Cookie Monster had a problem.
Christina: Can I have some of those fruits and cookies. I need to make a gift basket for my parent's aniversaire.
Doctor: HEY! How did you get in here. And what's with all the nerds?
Kingston: Nerds are COOL!
Christina: Maybe you guys can say, "Happy anniversaire!" Through my phone.
Christina: Hey mom and dad, my class wants to say something.
Class: Happy anniversaire!
John: I love you Mom.
Kaela & Rae: WE LOVE YOU! WE'RE YOUR FAN CLUB!
Emily H.: GO JAPAN! I'M IT'S FAN CLUB!

HyperHyperHyperHyperHyperHyper

My last blog Inside Blog is what happens when I get hyper. I start rambling on about random things and just can't stop talking. Just ask Ray-Ray or Scott. Hey Raymond, remember that time with the gum, soda and the squirrel. Who knew they could run so fast. Just kidding ;) Also there will be more inside blogs, maybe, I think so, maybe, probably. There are still so many things I didn't write about. And to think it all happened in just 3 weeks. And just for good measure HyperHyperHyperHyperHyperHyperHyperHyperHyperHyperHyperHyperHyper!

Inside Blog

SOOOOOOO... I don't really have anything to say. I'll go eat chips now or maybe a donut. There goes the purple hippo I have to catch it before the cheating avalance. It breaks all 12 CTY commandmants and throws peaches instead of cabbages. Is that Albert, Killian or a mirror? Time to go back to Jamaica, the friars are to rough. He said, "OH MY GOD!" You might as well spray me with air freshener. Here comes the hippo again, its throwing frisbies. "FEET" Charlie no headbutting the hippo or else the avalanche will tell on you. M.E. your frisby is turning on you look out. Scott why don't you have jet lag now you must sleep in Ryan. The worst punishment possible. Its cruel, unusual, and has bugs in your shoes. John, stop singing your D&D songs out the window. The RA's will take away passion fruit. *Gasp* Lord Bemegyek beckons. BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK, BEMEGYEK. That was not a sublymonal message. This is not a geek camp. We are not cloning students. Thy're on to us, ABORT, ABORT.

Hey

It sounds like y'all have fun summer plans, so Have fun. I am so bored at home but have been visitng friend. Me, Hye and Geena went to the movies together. We should do it a lot more. :)
Anyway, I have also been packing and cleaning up some of my stuff thats in my Newton house. It's hard to believe that this will be my final summer here and you won't believe the amount of crap in my room. I thought it was clean as much of my stuff is in a box in Arizona.
My friend let me borrow 10 CD's which i have already dropped and broken a few. I am trying to come up with a plan that will cost me nothing. But so far nothing has come to mind.
I am gonna go to camp next week, i think. My mom says me being home and wasting time is kinda boring her.
Have Fun
Amy

BRAINTREE!

I was looking at the map to go to Boston. It turns out we're meeting in Hingham not Boston. At some weird Wompatuck State Park... for those who wish to stalk me. Ha jk please don't. And I saw we pass BRAINTREE! And I was like KINGSTON! And I saw NEWTON and I was like AMITA! And I saw Boston and I was like aww there should be some reunion... But I'm sorry. My mom refuses to wake up at 5 and start driving at 6... I'll miss you all. This will be my last blog before I leave for biking camp. I know I said that before but I lied. And this is the truth... Remember when John had those false endings?? Yeah... something like that! <3 to you all!

RACHEL DEMANDS LETTERS!!!

Hehe...thought that title would catch your attention :)

Anyways, I'm sure most of you know Rachel's in China right now. She says she's "very bored," and she'd really appreciate it if you guys would all take a little bit of time and write her some letters. Her address is:

Rachel Zhao
Room 202, Building 10
No. 1109 Hong Xu Road
Shanghai, P.R. China

That's all for now. Hope everyone's enjoying their summer!!!

Movie with Geena and Amita (ha! it rhymes!)

Me, Geena, and Amita just saw Click together!!!! It was so fun!! First we met each other at the theatre, bought our tickets at the ticket concession outside, walked in, and saw the movie. We then we walked around and shared french fries at a pizza shop. Geena had the crumbs and I had the leftover ketchup. We took pictures and reminisced about CTY and talked about other stuff. Then we departed our farewell. It was awesome :). Those of you lonely CTY critters out there, go grab a friend that lives nearby and go to the nearest theatre! I promise you you will love it.

i know it's cheesy i'm posting about this

but i think it's important. if you have time read these sites:

http://www.myspace.com/hpalliance (read the blog entries there too)
http://www.stopglobalwarming.org/sgw_actionitems.asp

hehe, ever since i got back i've been going through a small awareness phase and i've basically been showing everyone these.

i did that "100 things you love" exercise on the harry potter site (well, i didn't finish yet but i started) and i think it's really helpful. it makes you really appreciative for what you have and it made me really happy. =DD so yeah, i'll update for real some other time.

bundles of love,
geena

Nostalgia...

Ahhh...my friend just sent me 'American Pie' and 'Sandstorm' and I feel sooooo nostalgic! I want to go back to CTY :(

...Emily

Aloha...

I just wanted to let you know that I showed my mom and dad our blog. They're both English teachers so naturally they value this kind of stuff as much as I do, and even more so. Moral of the story: they were blown away by how articulate and introspective you all are. They knew a fair amount about the CTY program, but now I think they "get it".

I also wanted to note how my mother started to cry for about 10 seconds thanks to ME and Raymond's most recent sentimental posts, then realized the rather large lady sitting in the next booth (with a soup and sandwich combo larger than two adult sized heads) was staring at us with a small scrap of lettuce stuck to her cheek. It was quite humorous.

What did you all do at the mall? Was there an Armani Exchange involved? Or possibly a trip to my favorite store, Barnes & Nobles? Did you philosophize for hours over mocha lattes? Or maybe you spent the afternoon in the food court peer conferencing the latest and greatest essays you've written post-CTY? Mmmm... whatever it entailed I'm sure it was a blast.

Be good.

Christina

Biking Camp...

Yes it's true. I will be in the Cape Cod wilderness with a bike and a group of kids wandering around. Nah, my friend went before and said it would be alot of fun but seriously... Nothing is fun compared to CTY! So... until August 4th, my iPod, my cell, and my internet will not be available to me. I will miss you all but you know what the worst part is? I got half of the pictures from my disposable cameras but this day my dad decides to get a new scanner which has not arrived yet. So please hang tight. The pictures are on their way! I will miss you all but promise me when I come back on, there will be 100+ posts! <3 Always

My Life Away From CTY

Hi everybody! I have been listening to Graduation, the song Geena recommended, over and over. It reminds me so much of CTY, and reminds me of you guys often, not that I would ever forget you. Life at home isn't that exciting. Like Amita, it has been ho-hum boring so far. Nothing special has happened since I came back, except that I got a haircut. I am glad that other people are having fun at camp or in China, and D.C., in Kaela's case. I might go to a golf or tennis camp, or something, though. I haven't done either in a while because of camp preparation, camp, and camp after-effects. Oh, and my math Distance Education for CTY starts on August 1st! I am such a nerd (*gasp!*) but I feel like I'm behind on my math.

I watched Bemegyek yesterday. It was so funny :)

EDIT::

Why can't I see any of my updated blogs??!!? It is driving me up the wall!!

Well, I'm Going

Tomorrow I'm going to China, around noon. Well, I'm not sure if my dad said we were getting at the airport noon or leaving for there at noon. I won't be back until August 26th, but I'll have Internet access. I'll try to have as much jet lag as possible to stay up when other people might be on!

Will miss you all!

For Good

Hey guys! Have any of you ever heard the song "For Good" from the Broadway show Wicked? It came on my iTunes and it reminded me so much of CTY and all of you guys and I got all choked up again. PLEASE. I BEG OF YOU. LISTEN TO IT. It's such a pretty song. Here's a verse from it. -M.E.

I've heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
Bringing something we must learn
And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
If we let them
And we help them in return
Well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
Because I knew you

BEMEGYEK

For those of you who don't appreciate Bemegyek maybe you just aren't used to the concept. Unfortunately I cannot directly blog the video, but i can give you the URL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOeGM9wyTvU&search=hungarian%20commercial
Watch it over and over again, maybe even 400 times^~^. Send it to everyone you know. This is the start of a revoulution... ok not really, but its still a great clip.
Posted by who, but Kingston. Loyal devotee of Bemegyek!

Me, Too!

Please don't forget to forward photos to me and Christina, too. I would like to have a few of those from the slide show. Also, John, I can't make it to the site while I'm still at CTY, but I'll check it out when I return. There seems to be no D&Ders here this session. There is a girl who keeps a fuzzy dragon on her shoulder and another who carries around a fake hand.--Amanda

my last post

awwww this is probably my last post before i leave. awwww i'm going to miss everyone a lot! i'll give you guys my address in china, write me! i'll definitely write back. hope everyone has a great rest-of-the-summer, and when we all get back we can plan the reunion! <3 =)

ALL WE NEED IS SOME ICE CREAM AND A HUG =)

heyy guys what's up? bike camp has been getting better, i can't really say it's been fun yet but it's pretty challenging and i guess it's good i'm getting off my butt and actually getting some exercise. =) life's been pretty good except for before i go to sleep because then i listen to american pie and i feel like i'm at the dances and i get sickish again.

so, i've been distracting myself with four books and albert's racecar computer game (which is actually super addicting. i'm starting to become a car geek!! 8D)

plus my friend showed me this email from the old best friend i called last weekend. basically she's like, "oh so i heard you and geena talked how did it go?" and then she replies with "yeah it was okay. i didn't really talk much, i just listened to geena repeat lots of stuff and hiccup and make funny noises. [way to make me look like a baby :P] i mean, i got over it a looong time ago but i guess she didn't or something." and then she goes on to complain about "how it sucks for me because after our fight lots of our mutual friends 'chose geena over me' and that pissed me off lots. plus it's like lots of people purposefully mention her in front of me to see if i say anything or something, it's stupid."

and that disappointed me lots. because apparently she didn't really find any meaning in our conversation or at least she's saying she didn't (because i SWEAR i made her CRY at the end) ummm whatever. i totally give up and i don't really think she's worth it. it's kind of sad though because it just goes to show that nothing ever stays the same and even the closest of friends can change and drift dramatically. (i'm glad i have all of you though. and i hope we all stay tight until at least next summer.)

"Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better." - King Whitney Jr.

soo i guess i just need to completely move on and make sure i got something out of this whole experience. =)

eek sorry for the long post!
much love,
geena♥

Pictures

My camera hates me. I mean really hates me. The pictures refuse to move from there dumb photo editing software to the blog. So in my attempts to beat the system, I put them all into a Word document and tried to post that. Still no luck. So I gave up and just copied and pasted them into an email which I will now send to all of you. Enjoy them.

M.E.

I'm sick!

ARGGH! I have a cold. I've been lying around the house all day because I can't bring myself to get up and do something productive. That and because I spilled water all over the book I have to read for school so I have to wait until it dries out before I can read it. I even took a three hour nap on my porch, that's how crappy I feel.

Anywho, I was talking to Angie before and i came up with the best way to describe how we feel about CTY. I asked her, "Don't you find it strange that we can live somewhere for three weeks and feel more at home there than at a place we've lived for our entire lives?" I miss all of you guys soooooooooooooo much. My house seems so lonely in comparison.

Okay, I promise that I'll post pictures reeeeeeeeeeally soon. Just as soon as the horrible photo editing software I have stops arguing with me and starts being cooperative!

Much love,
M.E.

Invisible Blogs

Hmm.. after my "Yay for blogging a lot!" post, no other blogs have been showing up, not mine, nor anyone else's. But they do show up in my dashboard. Confused!??! Can anyone help??

Past Time

Ahhh....it's oh-so very boring here without you guys. All I've got to pass my time with are books, the computer, and some other artsy stuff. Wish I could play soccer or ERS or Chinese Poker with someone...if only we were all back at Siena.

Funner game

Here are the rules to this game:

1. post the verification code you get...it's funny XD

2. Asparagus kicks Asparagus??

Accepted

A few days ago I got a letter in the mail saying that I got accepted to a magnet school in Hartford, the capital of CT. It asked if I wanted to attend in the fall. About 70% of the kids come from Hartford (which is kinda slummy, btw) and 30% come from other districts. The school focuses on mostly science, engineering, and math; also, it is only 35% female. It requires uniforms and is temporarily housed inside a University. My brother(who is a year older than me) got into that school last year and he told me that the school is ugly and offers few sports and clubs (he didn't go to the school; he went to a parochial school instead). However he said that I would be very ahead on my math if I went there because they take 2 math courses a year instead of just one.

At first I was really happy to have another school to choose from but I was kinda scared of change. I didn't like that uncertain feeling you get when you go somewhere new. I thought about if I would be popular there, if I would like it better there, and if it would be better for me in the long run. I thought about adjusting to the new school and routine, the new people, waking up earlier in the morning to take the bus, and not being able to wear my clothes because of the uniform policy T_T (Like what I thought my 1st year at CTY). But then I thought of the new math courses I would be learning (sci and math are my favorite subjects), the new friends I could be making, and the chance to be a new person. My dad said that if I didn't like it over there I could always come back to my public school ,but if I didn't like it at my public school I couldn't go to the magnet school.

After thinking it over for a day or two I decided to go to the school. Seeing that the private schools I applied to didn't take much interest in me, I might as well try something new. I mean, what do I have to lose? I can always go back to my old school. At CTY I found that going somewhere new is exciting and fun. Hopefully my new high school will be a similar experience.

picturess

actually i dont have any pictures now, sorry :( but i might be developing my disposable cameras later so be patient please. by the way, did everyone get felicia's email? there are 33 pix in it, so if you didnt get it, ask someone to fwd it to you. i am soooo happy she sent the pictures =]=]=]=]=]=]=]=]=] hehe.

It's a MYSTERY

Hmm.. I posted the pictures many times, but they are not showing up.

TIP!

Just a tip for you busy guys. I know it takes a while to upload pictures. But if you make the size small then it's a lot faster than the medium or the large size pictures. And it's still just as good! So yay!
<3

A Dream?

I woke up today and I was so... dazed. I had no idea where I was once again. I finally realized that this is my home... But I felt like I just woke up from a dream about CTY. Yes folks we are not at CTY anymore and though it no longer makes me cry, it's a strange notion. And you know what's the best on top of that? I almost passed out after playing tennis for an hour in the afternoon sun! Yay! Fun! It's like a hundred degrees, it's beautiful weather but disgustingly hot. It made me want those rainy days at Loudonville. Why don't we ever know what we want before we lose it?? My dad is developing pictures because he forgot... Grrr... I had a tantrum about that. Ha.

That's my friend Ayaka and me for those who have heard.. lots about her. I really wanted to post a picture and that's the only one that was applicable to what I've been talking about soo... Yeah!

I miss you guys! And apparantly so does this cat. I think I'm way too bored. I'm posting pictures of CATS being SAD... Ok I'm going to occupy my time differently now. Post more pictures guys!!

<3

hii again

hey sorry i think i make too many posts but hey i can't live without you guys so yeah. i was on my bed and i started crying really hard again and i'm kind of getting sick of it. not sick of you guys but sick of how i can't just get over it already and stop being a jerk to home people. it's so hard though, it's like people expect me to be perky and stuff all the time and it's just so annoying to have to live up to that here because i can't really be all cheerful all the time and people just can't seem to accept that so they automatically leave me alone and think i'm depressed or something. it's SO ANNOYING. i'd do ANYTHING right now to move to a different town where i can go to a private school or something and just completely start over, just like i did with you guys.

anyway though. today when i came back from the pool place and took out my ponytail my hair got chlorinated and wavyish and i thought it was really cool because i've never seen my hair like that before. it's pretty exciting. =)

ahhh that's actually kinda scary. i just thought the hair was different. =) hmm i had other things to say too.. i forget now

oh, can we have like a big chat sometime again? maybe you guys -are- doing them still but if you ever have a big organized one again could you let me know? thanks. =) you're all amazing and if you need proof just ask yourself why everyone's still so upset about leaving. =)

chockfulls of love (does that make sense?);
geena

Yeah, I kick asparagus!

Well, I finally figured out how this thingy works. ^^ yay!

DENTIST = EWWWW

yay. today. i woke up, read a magazine, read half a book, ate eggs, ate an ice cream sandwich, ate lunch, did some work, and went to a friend's house. then i was going to go bowling with some cool people but i had a jfkdlas;jfkld;sa DENTIST APPOINTMENT! argh. BLEHHH. apparently my teeth are acting all funky so they had to put this layer the top of my tooth to make it flat. and they numbed my mouth with a shot and now the right side of my mouth feels dead. AHHHHHH. and half of my tongue is conscious, the other half is not.

i hope someone else has something else more interesting to write besides a trip to the dentist :\

BIKE CAMP

OMG IT WAS TERRIBLE x 3298472398457 million. If the next two weeks are gonna be like this I swear I will go drown myself.

So today was 97 degrees and we were biking really hard for 3+ hours and the people wouldn't let us take water breaks and I felt so nauseous and so did everyone else and it just totally sucked. We went swimming too but everyone was so drained and people were in bad moods so that sucked too. Then at the end when I needed to get home my mom told me to bike home because she didn't want to come pick me up and I didn't know the way home from that part of town so I was wandering around lost for a long time and then I finally found my bus route so I took that (which is the longest way you can possibly take; it's like going around the border of the town) and I was SO scared I was going to die because there weren't sidewalks and now I'm home and I'm never ever ever doing that ever again. aljfpoiwerujldksf okay I feel a lot better now. I'm going to take a shower. Maybe I'll take pictures tomorrow if it's a good day, otherwise you'll probably get another post like this. Or maybe if tomorrow is like this then I just won't post because there won't be a point.

I love you all lots though. I was still thinking of all of you at camp and people were like, "GEENA WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU WHY AREN'T YOU BEING GEENA!!!" and I was like narr shut up so now I think people think I changed lots and they're like scared of me or something and it sucks ugh okay sorry bad day ttyl after my shower bye

PICTURES?!

People, I will post pictures as soon as their developed because I stupidly didn't bring my digital camera. But I know alot of you guys had digital cameras! Please share the remanants (spelling?) of CTY by posting the pictures! I'm begging you to take 10 minutes of your life and post the pictures so we can all laugh and cry over them... Please!

China soon

I'm leaving to China in 4 days! I know there's computer access at my relatives' houses (I keep on moving between both sides of the family during the time there), so if in my free time (which will be a lot), I"ll probably be on.

Sorry for not being in the 8:00 chat yesterday. I went to see Pirates of the Carribean. It was pretty bad compared to the first. But that's always the pattern when there's 3 movies or books.

HI EVERYONE!!!!

hi i'm making this a happy post since they're all so sad! ok so whats up everyone? i miss you guys.... and all! well i'm going to china JULY 20th which is 3 days! idk if theres going to be internet access or even a computer in my grandma's house so i'll talk to you maybe there or when i get back on august 26th! LOVE YOU ALL PASSIONATELY! btw, is everyone doing all right? <33

Sunday, July 16, 2006

heyy!!

Hi everyone what's up?? =) Today I went to a pool party and watched Romeo & Juliet with friends and did nails and I'm going to make a sandwich in a few minutes. It was such a snap back to reality but I think once you get over that it's a lot easier to adjust (it was hard at first b/c I felt like I was about to cry so I did cry when Wonderwall came on the stereo and after that I cheered up and it was cool). I wish I could give you all hugs right now and make you feel better. It makes me sad that all of you are so sad too. What I did yesterday was copy down lots of quotes about friendship and happiness and stuff and doodle around them in pretty colors. It always makes me feel better. I'd type some down but it's upstairs and if I go upstairs I'll probably ditch this and start making my sandwich. So I guess I'll go, and tell you all about bike camp tomorrow (AHH! there's gonna be a swim test! and I basically completely forgot how to swim this year. well I do know how to swim but they want to see specific strokes and stuff. I mean what's the point, it's BIKE camp. gosh)

I love you all so much. Can't wait to read the posts tomorrow! =)
<3, Geena

July 16, 2006

It's amzing how close a group of people can get in a matter of 3 weeks. I feel like I've known everyone for years instead of weeks. It's hard to say goodbye when you have a relationship that solid. I am back in my home for the first time in 3 weeks. it feels good to be back, but it is a bitter sweet return. i miss my cty friends, but at least now i can return to my normal schedule. that means summer reading, ugh. i hope we stay in touch 'till next year and beyond. when the school year starts don't forget about cty and the people you've met there. and the experinces you've...experienced. sorry it took me so long to remembeer the charubs account. oh well now i can say that i've posted a blog. CTY FOREVER!

The Contact List

I changed the contact list to a draft instead of a published post. If you need to look at the contact info, just go to Postings and go to "Contact List 2006" and it's still there--just as a draft. I'll change it back to a posting as soon as I password protect this thing--which will be very soon I promise. --Amanda

Ready for Round Two

Oh my goodness! I love to see what you've guys have done with this blog! I'm preparing for Session 2 and curious to know how my new group will respond to my "brilliance." I know this about my brilliance: I'm only as brilliant as the students I teach. (And, I'm only as brilliant as my TA.) You guys are brilliant! Christina is brilliant! I've never written a paragraph with so many exclamation points in my life!

Oh golly...

it's only July 16, and we've already had a google of posts! I'm sure you all share the same joy and jubilation that I feel from having this system of communication be so successful, so quickly.

I hope you realize how thankful I am to have had the chance to get to know each and every single one of you during the past three weeks. You are special people, with special talent, and I could not ask for a more friendly and exuberant crew. I am amazed at how quickly you went from strangers, to family. I am amazed at how honestly "you" you were with each other. I am proud that through the blood, sweat, and tears of writing ground-breaking essays, forging friendships, and saying bittersweet goodbyes (okay maybe not blood), you have each discovered not only why you came here, but what you took away from here as well. But enough of this sappy talk. See that? That's voice. And sentence variety. And a little bit of repetition. Don't forget it.

I'll be back. <-- In the voice of The Governator, for those of you who had the priviledge to see my Arnold t-shirt. Christina :)

Oh my aching head...

Everytime I wake up I'm always hit with a terrible headache...I wonder why. Has anyone else been experiencing the same thing? Maybe it's just me...that wouldn't be good.

Oh, and I promise to scan Deeder into the computer and post the pictures up on the blog by the end of this week(!!!).

-Hi

P.S. I will post a funny video tomorrow about Geena laughing over Pamper Wipes!

A Tribute to Roomates

pay attention

i would just like to say that last night as i went to sleep at around 1:00 after watching t.v, posting on the blogs and checking email every 5 seconds it felt soo wrong. i am not used to sleeping alone(that sounds wrong, i kknow) It felt so wrong to be sleeping in my huge room all alone and to have that much space on the bed and to not have towake up so early. And i miss talking to Helena at night and flivkering our lights at the noisy RA's and reading and doing yoga at night. I miss talking to her about the day's events and about the other CTYers and RA's and about our home lives.
It felt so wrong yesterday to not have Helena in the same room with me in the morning.
And so i would like all of us to thank our roomated who have helped shape and better our CTY experience. Thanks to the person who we actually spent the most time with (9 hours each day.) Please comment to thank your roomie(excepting Emily, Kingston and Rachel)
I 'm sorry i made the font so big. i could not change it back. Geena had this problem sometime back. :)

Here are just five pictures from the beginning of camp. Five was the maximum I could upload, so I'll do more later!!! ^-^

Pictures

I am currently choosing pictures to put on my next blog!

ATTENTION!

Anyone with a digital camera... Please post the pictures. They don't capture the whole memory but it's good enough. I'm like freaked that I'll forget what everyone looks like!

tell him

omg that song that i was always talking about & singing before the talent show.... its called tell him by celine dion & barbra streisand. its really strong and amazing. download it, its the best song ever. its not very sad either, so thats good, i guess.

today

doesn't feel real. i still feel out of touch with my friends here. most of them are on vacation or at camp. this afternoon, i'm going shopping & watching a movie w/ one of my best friends. i hope i'll feel better after it, but i doubt it. goodbye is so hard for me.

how are you all? geena, i'm so happy that you made up with your best friend. my AIM isnt working and i'm mad. whatever. hope everyone's doing ok. love you all infinitely <333

Stuff at 12:16 AM

Does anyone else notice that the time of post on the blogs are all wrong? I saw Geena's blog at 11:50 AM, which said "posted at 8:something AM, then saw a couple of new blogs at 12:10 AM, which said "posted at 9:04something AM."

Ah well.

Blogger is fun!! It seems like everyone is on at the same time. New blogs appear every minute! I'm so excited. And I'll try to send Kingston an invite.

Songs

I downloaded American Pie, Nightswimming, It's the End of the World as We Know It, and Hallejuah and much more... I started crying. The dances were amazing, the friendships, the bonds. I started thinking of the hectic atmosphere at dances and started craving it more than chocolate. Yes Sparky, I miss DP too. I miss the smallest things about CTY, the ones I know I can't have back... Geena, I love that song! (Graduation)
<3 Angie
P.S. Sorry about the emotionalness... It'll take me a couple days to become dry eyed.

and as our lives change come whatever we will still be friends forever

Graduation - Vitamin C

^ sweetest song ever. download it (if you don' already have it) and listen!

Zzzzz

Hehe. You wouldn't know how much I craved sleep until today. I woke up at 11:50 AM today. !!. I think that 8 hours and 30 minutes of sleep wasn't enough, especially in the summer o_O. But camp was still so worth it.

-Hye-Jung

it's the end of the world as we know it

AHH omg so i called my old best friend called me back and we talked for like 3 minutes and basically it was really awkward and i was sobbing and later she started crying too but we both said sorry and that we could start over.

and i know you're all probably confused but basically a few months ago we got into this huge fight and i didn't talk to her ever since, and i felt really bad about it when i came back so i just called and winged the conversation and i feel so much better now.

it's a pretty good start to coming back home again i think.

but i wanted to say thanks because i think you all sort of helped me decide i should do it, even though you didn't know. still, thanks so much. i still can't stress enough how much all of you have taught me. even john taught me something. i love you all SO MUCH.

so, what's up? today when i woke up i was really sad so i took a walk with albert to the library. i got four books and then went to the movie rental place and i was going to get the notebook but it wasn't there so i got in her shoes. never seen it, is it good? i just thought it would keep me distracted (i'm kind of trying to put off unpacking for as long as i can) the walk was nice though, i kind of got re-familiarized with bedford and that was actually kind of cool.

i guess today i'll just be reading and watching movies. then tomorrow i'm going to a pool party and then i'm going to this biking daycamp which i really don't want to go to now. =( sorry i'm rambling now, but that's kind of necessary for keeping in touch, right? =) well whatever. tell me what you've all been up to! =)

love forever and ever and ever,
geena

maybe this will help ?

"Time heals all wounds."

i'm so glad we have this blog thing. it's like the most active way to keep in touch and i'm so happy!! and sad. but still happy. amanda = brilliant!

anyway i was thinking about everything i've learned from you guys and it comes down to SO much more than just stuff about writing. i'm so so so so glad i met all of you.

i was on the phone with home friends and i got really depressed because we're all back home now and we need to catch up with home drama and home news and everything and it just sucks.

oh albert wants me to tell you all i'm wearing batman boxers. he wants to meet ray-ray too. oh and i want to tell you all that we got a new toilet!! it's pretty exciting actually. it's big and white and makes our bathroom look cramped now. but when i used it and used our toilet paper i got sad because the toilet paper didn't say "Scott" on it anymore. haha. today's probably been the most emotional day ever.

ps; i'm really sorry about the huge text, i don't know why it's not going smaller. i edited it a bunch of times but it's not really working so yeah. sorry.

*tear*

Hi guys!!!!

OMG I miss everybody so much already!!!!!!! I cried half of the way home (I slept the other half). When I signed up for CTY I didn't realize how close I would get to everybody here and how Siena would become my home. I almost feel more at home there than in my own house now. The SAT was so worth this.

Anyways, I love all of your pics Geena Bee! The one of Essie eating is really funny. I think I was standing next to you when you took it. We should make a collage of people eating stuff! We can use that picture I have of you eating a banana! I'll post some pics myself really soon.

<3,
M.E.

Missing Everyone Already

Yeah, I miss you all...I feel sad inside and don't know what to say. :( I miss you guys a lot.

...Scott Zeng.

crying my eyes out

Hey guys. It's me! I was crying so hard when I got back to my house! I miss you all so much. I really didn't want to leave CTY! Email me guys, email me. AND call me. Love ya all! <3 Helena

Hi everyone.

Hey, it's Geena. I miss you all SO MUCH you wouldn't believe it. When I got home I was like, in hysterics and then I actually called my old best friend and I was going to tell her sorry but her mom picked up and she wasn't there but I'm still going to do it and I think you guys helped me realize I should and I'm so happy. Then I cried and made weird noises for a really long time on my bed until I fell off it and oh my gosh I feel like I'm losing my mind, like, I can't focus on anything and I keep on dropping things that I pick up bleh I hope I get better tomorrow.

Anyway here are some of my favorite photos.

I think I'd make a pretty hot man.

[M.E. I think we should make a collage of people eating stuff or something, haha.]

I swear if they were the same height they'd be triplets.

AHH okay now I feel like crying again I'm going to sign off sorry about the run on sentences I'm a really lazy typer and I never really feel like grammarizing stuff sorry

oh and Angie I've been thinking about your essay for the whole carride and it sorta cheered me up because it has a positive perspective on goodbyes and everything and I'm so glad you read it today because I'd probably be pretty depressed if you hadn't.

I love all of you THIS MUCH
<---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
well more but I can't really fit it

Much love;
Geena

oh and please comment. that would make me very very very happy. =)

Realization

I cried when I left and like even before that, too. (Crying in the bathroom with fellow girls... Sorry guys. You don't have a couch in your bathroom) But I never really realized how unfamiliar my house was going to be. The Siena College Campus has been like my home and you guys have been my family. I never thought I'd feel out of place at my house but now I actually do. I miss you guys all so much. I'm leaving for my second camp sometime next week-ish which is like 21st of July. (In response to Rae's thingy) Please post everything guys. We'll always keep in touch. <3 Angie xoxo

A Quick Hello

Oooh...I miss everyone all so much right now. I wish we were back at Siena, playing soccer or just hanging out like we usually do. It makes me sad just thinking about it.

Anyhow, I'm leaving for China on August 4th and I'll be back August 30th. If we do decide to go to Six Flags for a reunion around that time, I think I will be having a problem with jet lag. -tear-

Okay, well, I have to go to dinner now. To be honest, I kind of miss the nasty food we got in Sarazen and Foy.

Be back later

Remember...Deeder luvs you <3

Yay for Blogger!

Hi everyone!! What's up? If you're reading this, then hopefully, you've created a blog as well. I'm really excited that we have this Blogger (thanks, Amanda). I couldn't believe it at first. But we have it! Yay!

With a high-pitched hahahaha, I bid you farewell.

P.S. What are you guys doing for the rest of the summer?

-Hye-Jung

Remember Us

Hey everyone! I miss you all insanely already :( Oh yeah post if you guys are going on vacation cause I'll be in China from July 20 -- August26.

If you have pictures on a digital camera, could you send them by email to everyone? And also if you have a really complete contact list, send it as well! =] We should definitely have a reunion at six flags or whatever. Maybe August 30ish? Well I'll talk to you guys later. <3

Our First Entry

We've created a blog so we can all keep in touch after we leave CTY on July 14, 2006. Here are some of the highlights from class:

Nerds are cool, but essayists are cooler. An essay is the start of a par-tay! I am a fruit. Ordinary is strange. The only way out is through. Perfection in a bottle. We love asparagus. I'd rather draw than write an essay. Essayists are failed fiction writers. Hot air in a bottle. Oh, golly! It's 1:10! Sagittarius with whipped cream on top. Aunt Jemima is my hero. Can you skip me? You'll never be old and wise if you were never young and crazy. Wicked awesome!
