Random Ranting
Um...let's see...
Well, I'm taking the GEPAs next week, from Monday to Thursday. It totally screws up my school schedule to the point of me not knowing when to go to where, and I still have to wake up for high school math each day, so I have to get up earlier than most people. I'm not allowed to bring anything to the classroom, the school is JUST changing the science curriculum in 6th grade to teach something we never learned about for the GEPAs, and my hands twitch from Language Arts Gepa Prepa Boot Camp.
Fun, right?
Have any of you listened to a band that sounds BETTER live? I just did.

what are the gepas? are they like the new jersey standardized test? those are so boring. ;p ohh it is thrice! i have that song =) i think a bunch of bands sound better live though, as long as the lead singer can actually sing (for example britney spears would probably need some heavy sound effects and adjustments to pull it off) :)
The GEPAs are the Grade Eight Proficiency Assessment, so yeah, the state test. And yup, Thrice. I love Thrice, almost as much as the Red Hot Chili Peppers...I'm listening to a song right now.
We have tests like the GEPAS at my school this week. The ITBS- or Iowa Test of Basic Skills. We've been taking it every year since the first grade but they still read the same directions and make us take the EXACT SAME practice test every year. Actually they keep most of the questions the same on the actual test and my school actually tells us not to study for it so it's really easy. But then we have seperate eigth grade English tests, math tests, and an Archdiocese RELIGION test that counts for absolutely nothing and they make you study for it like crazy and most of the stuff isn't even on the test. Very sucky.

Oh, another random rant. I hate the Grammies now. Dani California won two Grammies, and there were better songs on that album...popularity contests...

gepas were okay. math was easy. science was hard.
