not my day :/
i told my parents i finished all my homework so i could go out last night. problem is, i didnt. and they expect me to finish sat prep and play clarinet today. plus i have to do all of my freaking homework which includes a take home math test, math wksheet, lal advice essay, science dittos, read irb, and oh no answer ss question. today's going to be a looong n boring day so i thought i'd post. eeeurkers.
BTW IMPORTANT PLEASE READ HELP ME. for lal we're supposed to find an idea for a persuasive essay; something we feel strongly about. i am AWFUL at persuasive essays. i honestly can NEVER think of anything i feel really strongly about. u guys prolly really care about something like saving animals or gas prices but none of those really appeal to me (+ i suck at debating yay another big plus :/). the only thing i can think of is i really hate when ppl lie but how am i suppoed to write something on that? i can see it now on the top of the paper: PEOPLE SHOULD NOT LIE. yaddayadda yadda and my thesis people should not lie because they are hurting the people around them and lying is terrible. ok thanku. UGHH! so i was thinking of doing global warming but thats not something i know a lot about either. but the warm weather is really scaring me tho. ANY IDEAS???

something that's easy to care about and write about: how marketing and like cigarrette companies seem to be directed towards teens. or something about teenage society... models being skinny and anoxeria, doing drugs, sexual inferences... this all goes back to media inferences!
just a suggestion but i used this topic in a debate in 7th grade and it was good
I was going to say drug abuse or something like that, but Angie already has it, only better.
How about animal testing in the cosmetics industry? It takes a little bit of research, but once you learn a little more about it it's really horrible. I had to write a persuasive speach last year and I picked that topic and I won a city wide competition.
And in response to Angie's, you could also do eating disorders in that category.
